Tim continues to explore his never ending collection of unusual pens and writing instruments...

A very smart pen from the German company LAMY. Like many more formal pens, it has a clip to hold it in place, when you put it in your top pocket. But when you push the button at the end of the pen to make the writing nib appear, the clip retracts into the pen. I guess this is to make it easier to hold in the hand. Very elegant and a lovely piece of engineering!

A can of beer is attached to the top of this pen; when you press the button to make the nib appear, the beer can seems to do a little dance or jig.
