Faced with the jaw-droppingly low prices of bumpers from these up-and-coming brands for other trucks, we had to get a bit creative. The fix? A custom mod, and trust me, it's one of the easiest hacks in the game. Just a smidge of tinkering—trimming here, drilling a couple of holes there—and voila! You can snugly pop a 2nd Gen Tacoma front bumper onto your 4th Gen 4Runner. It's like they were made for each other! This is hands down the thriftiest bumper solution for the 4th gen 4Runner. No rocket science involved, just a bit of DIY magic in your own driveway with some basic tools anyone can handle.
