For #ProjectZombie, I upgraded an old bike (2015 KTM Ultra Fun 29er) with parts I purchased off of Amazon, as well as the motor, controller, and display from a $600 Walmart electric bike (2022 Hyper E-Ride 29er). If bought new, the electric components would cost $634. Additional parts I used to modernize the drivetrain, geometry, and aesthetics of the bike came to $185.
