Surah An Najm 53:1

Wan Najmi Izaa Hawa
- By the star when it falls

We, in this video, have focused on the word "Hawa" used in this Ayah

Here is its translation of Lughaat Al Quran, Volume 4, Page number 195-196

One of the meanings that have been taken by translators is falling....

But Lughaat Al Quran gives several other meanings many of which are related to Physics and Astronomy

- the EMPTY SPACE between two mountains
- hawaa is also the root word for Mahwa = Atmosphere
- hawaa also means humming (interesting)

Now if hawaa means to fall... And it means to hum, and it can be made into a verbal form of Mahwa meaning formation of atmosphere, and also Empty Space

Then,
here is one interpretation...

A living star is always under the process of fusion... And as soon as this fusion stops, the star is dead and it turns into white dwarf or black hole or supernova depending upon its mass

If you search NASA VOYAGE SPACE SOUND you will actually find the universe is not quite, but its constantly producing mind blowing beautiful sounds... A lot like humming..

NASA hasn't got the sound near sun or any star, but I can only assume the sounds generated by the fusion of atoms on An Najm..

I swear by the Star when it hums

Thats one interpretation I have got...
Then...
Mahwa means atmosphere... It can be turned into its verbal form which will be hawaa...

Then hawaa would means forming atmosphere..

And this too is mind boggling interpretation as it is in line with the fusion process and humming sound as well..

Then the falling of the star and creation of empty space..... These too might have certain meanings which might be the death of the star..

Falling of a star might be what a physicist would call collapsing of star.....
When a star runs out of any more atoms to fuse, Under the influence of gravity it falls to its center of gravity...

If the mass of that star is more than about 4 time the mass of sun, then that star collapses so much that it turns into black hole,
If not then white dwarf..

"I swear by the star when it does hawaa"

"when it hums"
"when it forms its atmosphere"
"when it collapses"
"when it forms empty space"

These describe both life and death of a star in one word...

Though, Allah knows best
