Noch in der ersten Rennstunde plötzlicher Wolkenbruch auf Höhe Schwedenkreuz-Aremberg runter zur Fuchröhre und Adenauer Forst. Rennabbruch und 69 auf der Strecke gestrandete Autos.

Suddenly a cloudburst at only one single part at the track (Schwedenkreuz to Aremberg, Fuchsröhre, Adenauer Forst) which sends a lot of drivers, who were on slicks at that moment, into the gravel. Due to the length of the track 25km and the fact that it was dry at start finish, it was really suprising for most drivers. 69 cars were stranded and couldn`t get back to the pits because of ice on the track!!!
