The sacrifices that this generation of U.S. veterans has made in blood spilled, broken and destroyed lives fighting in the GWOT is the real treasure that this nation has lost. Not the hundreds of billions and trillions that was simply squandered away.

I put this video together to honor all of you who have served in the GWOT, your bravery and dedication to serve this nation in the time of War has set the bar high to the next generation of young American men and women, who need the examples of exemplary character and the fortitude needed to pick up a weapon, lock and load, and leave the line of departure.

I needed to say thank you for your service and your sacrifice, and to let you know that my family's service to our great nation spans almost forty years. We know what service to this nation means, and the courage it takes to run towards the sound of guns.
