Today we show how to make chicken cheesesteak sandwiches on the Blackstone griddle. This easy recipe is so delicious and amazing, we are sure you will be making chicken cheesesteak on the Blackstone griddle all the time! Chicken Cheesesteak Recipe

2 large chicken breasts thinly sliced (to help with fast cooking/cutting while on the griddle)
4 fresh bakery hoagie rolls
Provolone cheese (three slices per roll)
1/2 large yellow onion (or veggies of your choice) cut into thin slices
Usual Suspects seasoning used liberally to taste (see recipe below)
Blackstone dome (used at the end to melt the cheese)

Usual Suspects
1tbs salt
3/4 tbs pepper
1/2 bs onion powder
1 tbs garlic powder
1/2 tbs Adobo
1 tbs accent
*Note, this is the recipe we use to mix in our shaker - this does not represent the amount of seasoning used in the cook! (Everyone enjoys varying amounts of seasoning, and therefore this is left to the cook to decide how much or little to use!)

Turn griddle to med/low heat until it reaches 410-430 degrees. lay a thin layer of vegetable oil on surface. Place onions on the oil, shake the Usual Suspects seasoning onto the onions, moving onions around until they are tender and begin to darken slightly. Move onions over to a side of the griddle that is not hot, and lay another thin layer of oil in the center of the griddle. Place the chicken on the oil, and shake a liberal amount of the Usual Suspects on the chicken. Cook until the chicken is cooked through (roughly 5-7 minutes). Just before the chicken is done cooking, place rolls on the griddle top with the intention of warming and slightly toasting the rolls (rotating the outsides, and folding open for 30 seconds to a minute before the final step). Arrange chicken in lines, with the amount you want in each hoagie roll. Place onions on the chicken. Place 3 slices of provolone cheese on each chicken "line." After the cheese is melted (using the dome to cover the chicken to speed up the melting process). Final step, place each hoagie roll over the chicken, and with the spatula scrape the chicken into the roll, flipping it upright with the chicken, onions, and cheese inside the roll. Let cool and enjoy!
