Remembering Steve Race's slick presenting of the BBC's 'Jazz 625' series the early days of BBC 2. The title referred to the new 1960's BBC 2 - line standard of '625', instead of the standard 405 line broadcasts.
Steve was an accomplished pianist and a prolific composer of mainly Jazz and Light orchestral music. Much of his music was used for various television, radio & big screen applications, not always giving him due credit.
