Hi and welcome to this first test run and review of my latest TT-02 Rally Project, the Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC 2008 on a modified TT02 chassis. I'm joined by my son, Alf, who did most of the filming and also some of the driving! This one is a bit special because it's built on a rare Red Special Edition hard chassis tub. I made a video about the suspension modifications and how to achieve 25mm ground clearance, you can see it here:

You can see detailed descriptions of all my TT02 rally mods in these 2 videos:

The main modifications to the car in this video are listed below:
Tamiya red Hard chassis
Tamiya Super Mini CVA shock absorbers fitted with longer Mini CVA stainless shafts
Modified lower suspension arms
Modified front and rear uprights
Modified steering links
Full ball bearing upgrade - Check out https://www.rcbearings.co.uk/
Absima Thrust Eco 15 Turn brushed motor
14T limit Etronix brushed ESC running a 4200mAh Zeee 2S LiPo
20T hardened pinion gear with stock 68T spur gear
Tamiya AW Grease in the differentials
3D printed chassis plate to block off webbing in the chassis and prevent steering lock-ups

Here is a link to the supplier I use on eBay for the stainless hex screws. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181024489629
They are the cheapest I've found - about £3 for 50 M3x10mm button head screws! And a pack of 100 is only a few pence more. Free postage. They don't do packs for Tamiya kits, you just have to buy M3 screws of different lengths to match the length of the ones in the kit. I buy packs of 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 15mm screws and just use the Tamiya ones if any longer screws are needed.
