When first turning on our Gas Range oven, we found there to be a
faint smell of rotten cabbage (Mercaptan), along with inconsistent oven temperatures. In conclusion, the problem was a malfunctioning bake ignitor. The short tutorial shows what we did to diagnose and the steps taken to replace the Bake Ignitor.
