Previously, we prepared for the placement of steel beams for our safe room ceiling by cutting and embedding steel plates and anchor bolts into concrete filled cells on top of our block walls.
Ultimately, another row of block will be laid surrounding these steel beams and a concrete ceiling will be poured tying all block and beams together but first we need to focus on safely and successfully lifting each of these 13’ steel beams into place. We also prepare our farm so we can leave town.
