What is a "Soft Connect"? Carefree of Colorado powered RV patio awnings often include something called a Uniguard, which is a metal wrap that prevents the awning from billowing in the wind while driving down the highway.

The Soft Connect is a section of fabric that attaches the Uniguard to the side of the RV. Since that fabric is ALWAYS exposed to the sun (even when the awning is stowed), it's generally the first piece of material to break down due to UV rays.

But you don't have to remove the awning to replace it! In this short video, we'll not only show you how, but we'll tell you how to install a far better replacement that will last FAR longer!

Tough Top Awnings offers a special discount to RVgeeks viewers on all of their top quality (manufactured in the USA!) RV awning and slide topper replacement fabric. Use Discount Code RVGEEKS at checkout to save 5% at https://www.toughtopawnings.com
