10/10/2022: World Mental Health Day.

"It's been 2 years that we've been sitting on this huge locker room full of interviews and content from the Movember period of 2020. With SPC13 in its infancy, we teamed up with the amazing fellas at LooseHeadz (  / looseheadz  ) to help deliver their 2020 Movember campaign interviewing a plethora of men within the health, wellness, and professional sporting world to talk about mental health.

Our second interview was with Ex professional rugby player Chris Cracknell. Starting his career in rugby union at maidenhead rfc, playing for an array of clubs like Worcester Warriors, and other teams, before the competition became the gallagher premiership rugby competition. However he did not play for saints rugby. He then went onto play with the England 7s team for over 10 years. After playing Chris went onto be the assistant coach for the Olympic winning Fiji rugby 7s team and then becoming the Fijiana Head Coach. Chris has had a fantastic playing and coaching career, with a wealth of knowledge and experience under his belt, but it hasn't all been golden days. Chris during this interview opened up with us, very bravely, about some very difficult times, and his experiences with mental health. Some of the topics covered may be upsetting for some, and if any of the contents does lead you to needing to talk to somebody please visit: https://looseheadz.co.uk/pages/help-s...

The goal with these Unf!ltered interviews is to bring you a different side to the traditional interviews and conversations, being as raw and unfiltered as possible, with some questions being pre-planned, whilst others being developed naturally through the conversation with Chris, bringing you a side that you may not have seen before, and showing a side of rugby mental health that has not been seen much.

We at SPC13 would like to extend our greatest appreciation and thanks to Chris for being so brave and sharing with us things he has not previously shared with anyone.

We also want to say a massive thanks to the team at Looseheadz for their support, and to all those involved in making this video come to life.

If any of the topics in the video today have encouraged you to talk to friends, family, or loved ones, please do visit the Looseheadz website https://looseheadz.co.uk/pages/help-s... for any help or information you may need.

We look forward to seeing you in the next video of Unf!ltered and in the meantime remember it's ok not to be ok."
