We're on a roll with our Volvo coverage on TestDrive, marking another luxury brand on board with our weekly show. Our Spotlight is on the 2019 Volvo XC60 T8 Inscription, a compact luxury crossover with a dual motor AWD setup for it's partial electric system. The XC60 is now in it's second generation and follows the same design language from the S90 we featured earlier.

Our full tour & review of the XC60 T8 Inscription goes over a lot of the exterior design and features, such as front adaptive LED headlighting, headlight washers, parking sensors, park assist, power folding mirrors, self-levelling suspension, automatic opening rear lift-gate, keyless access, and much more. We show these features and design elements in action while discussing how they compare with other vehicles we've tested this year.

We also jump inside the XC60 to talk about it's luxury interior, including the leather wrapped dashboard, open-pore wood trim, suite of safety technology through Volvo InteliSafe, front heated and ventilated seats, three-stage heated steering wheel, dual zone automatic climate control, rear heated seats, panoramic sunroof, LED ambient lighting, and the Bowers & Wilkins audio system.

TestDrive also takes the 2019 Volvo XC60 T8 on a comprehensive road test to talk about it's twin-charged inline 4 engine and electric motor that drives the rear wheels, along with the 4-C Active Air Suspension. We talk about our overall fuel economy for our week with the XC60 along with the control circuit we have setup. We do some performance-oriented testing such as a 0-100km or 0-60 kph test with the Volvo and talk about interior road noise levels.

Finally we wrap up our episode with our likes and dislikes about this compact crossover SUV including our final fuel economy numbers.
