Background: A year before this was recorded a handful of SLB members guested with a band at the Whit Friday March Contests. This band performed ORB and the crowds listening loved it. Therefore the knowledge of this great march was taken back to the SLB bandroom in Eastville and it became a firm favourite.

Stanshawe, Stanshawe (Bristol), Sun Life Stanshawe, and Sun Life Band are the same band but at different times of their history.
The band was formed in 1968 and disbanded in 1997.
So, "The light that burns the brightness burns the shortest."
