This is an iteration from the "Our America" documentary series detailing the historic service of the Montford Point Marines. The Montford Point Marines were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for their service and sacrifice to this Nation. Of the approximately 20,000 that served, only about 2000 have been issued their Congressional Gold Medal. The series highlights the efforts of the National Montford Point Marine Association and the importance of finding all Montford Point Marines to ensure they or their families can experience the gratitude of a grateful Nation.
