We drive a 2021 Polestar 2 down to 0% state of charge and plug it into a 150 kW Electrify America DC fast charger to see how long it takes to charge to 90%

The Polestar 2 has a 78 kWh battery, with 75 kWh of usable energy. It is supposed to be able to accept charging speeds of up to 150 kW, but we only saw about a 100 kW maximum charge rate. Still, it charged quickly because of its mostly flat charging curve that held 100 kW past the 50% state of charge point.
