Leo Varadkar became irked at People Before Profit's Richard Boyd Barrett, who clashed with Jennifer Carroll MacNeill of Fine Gael.

Mr Varadkar suggested Mr Boyd Barrett was manufacturing anger over housing, although sometimes he was genuinely angry.

He claimed that was the case when Mr Boyd Barrett jabbed a finger in response to an interruption from his constituency colleague in Dun Laoghaire, Ms Carroll MacNeill.

Mr Boyd Barrett, who had been stridently addressing the Taoiseach, snapped at Deputy Carroll MacNeill: "I'm not talking to you."

As Leo Varadkar complained, Mr Boyd Barrett could be heard saying: "Why should she heckle me?"
The Taoiseach replied: "But you know what I am going to say to you (Boyd Barrett)?

I am in this House for four hours a week, sometimes five hours a week. "I get constantly heckled."
