Back to the creek. Try a new ram pump design.
Obviously there could be a better ram pump. So much energy is wasted via the drive pipe. Can YOU come up with a more efficient idea? Could your kids? Get involved.
Perhaps roller-coaster technology. Coils, loops, etc. Maybe pipe end diameter restriction. I don't know; but I believe somebody could improve on the 90% "waste."
