The first full trailer for the upcoming Joker movie has hit the internet and, to put it simply, it looks fantastic. It also looks exceptionally chilling.

It's alleviated the fears that anyone possessing eyes and ears might have had, regarding whether or not it was a movie that was even worth making.

It looks like nothing ever seen before in a comic book movie and Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal looks intriguing to say the least.

One of the very obvious characteristics of Phoenix's Joker is that he's going to be very creepy - but could he be the creepiest Joker to date?

That's the question we're going to try and answer in this video!

Phoenix's Joker movie will be set in 1981 - depicting him as a failed stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City.

The versions we'll be comparing him to are Cesar Romero's Joker from the 1960s Batman TV series and spin-off movie, Jack Nicholson's Joker from Tim Burton's 1989 Batman movie, Heath Ledger's Joker from 2008's brilliant The Dark Knight, Jared Leto's somewhat controversial Joker from 2016's Suicide Squad, Mark Hamill's animated version of the Joker who's been around in various media since 1992, and Cameron Monaghan's Joker from the Gotham TV series.

We hope you enjoy the video! Please leave a comment letting us know what you thought about it. And don't forget to subscribe to Screen Rant's YouTube channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future.
