Jesus' Final Week--Day Four takes place in Bethany, east of Jerusalem, and only narrates two events, recorded in Mark 11:1-10. However, for Mark's Gospel this unusual story is important and essential. None of our other gospels have this. Mark reveals a great secret--Who anointed Jesus as the Messiah?
