The day was so nice so I decided to get on trail. I went to Government Canyon State Natural Area.  I took the Joe Johnston and Overlook Trails. Government Canyon is 12,244 acre park located in Nortwest San Antonio over the Edward's Aquifer recharge zone. On the trail are 110 million year old dinosaur tracks left by Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon dinosaurs.The Joe Johnston trail is named after Lieutenant Colonel Joe Johnston who mapped out the area. I also saw the Zizelmann House.
