I've had the Salomon Quest 4D GTX for about a year now. I've used these, exclusively, for all of my trips, be it day-hikes or multi-day backpacking trips.

The boots show signs of wear (after several hundred miles, they should!) but they have served me well. They will remain an essential part of my gear until they wear out.
