The UK-NZ trade deal is bad for Britain but that was something we already knew. However the new International Trade Secretary attempted to paper over the cracks by suggesting that an impact assessment was needed before we could know how 'great' it would be. So far New Zealand farmers have delighted with the deal while UK ones a deeply concerned.
