The video shows the free vibration of a circular cylinder, of wall thickness 2cm; fixed at the left end, & blocked-off at the right end with a circular plate of thickness 0.75m. The diameter of the cylinder was 10 m and its length was 20m. It was made in steel with a Young's Modulus of 2e11 N/m2; Poisson's Ratio of 0.3, and a density of 7860 kg/m3.
