Parody of the classic HBO series Game of Thrones based on marine ecologists at the Western Society of Naturalists. Each year west coast institutions and marine labs fight for the rights to purchase the tequila trophy with all proceeds going to the student travel fund. The video was designed to show how marine biology can gain more interest in social media by imitating classic videos. By hooking into popular culture, I aim to enhance science's reputation and gain more interest in our research and our discoveries in the natural world, especially our rapidly changing planet.
