Then come out to The Great Gatsby-themed pre-performance party taking place from 6:30-7:30 pm on April 21st and again on April 22nd in the lobby of the Chapman Cultural Center theater prior to The Great Gatsby ballet performance at 7:30 pm.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE PRE-SHOW PARTY:
The party includes champagne, a costume contest for the best 1920s outfits, Gatsby trivia, fun photo ops, and more! Right after the party, witness The Great Gatsby ballet performance for a roaring good time!

FOR MEN:
For the gents, less is more! The best Great Gatsby outfits for men should be a nice suit and accessorized with items like bow ties, pocket squares:
A black suit
White button-up collared shirt
Black or white bow tie
Black dress shoes.

FOR WOMEN:
“Flappers" in the 1920s (also a part of the jazz age) wore knee-length dresses (which were considered short during their time), a bob hairstyle, and often listened to jazz.
To capture the look of a flapper, wear something that sparkles! Sequins and beading were big in the 1920s, so add some sparkle to your outfit with accessories or clothing. A decorative headband and long gloves with a knee-length dress is an easy way to create the perfect Gatsby custom.
