David Gordon Green and Blumhouse are back with yet another legacy sequel no one asked for. I actually do think this film presents some interesting ideas that could have contributed to The Exorcist's mythology if given the opportunity to be fully explored in the planned trilogy.

Unfortunately, there's just too much going on in this film, and it relies too heavily on tropes we've seen in a thousand Exorcist rip-off movies.
