The 4WD-only 2021 Ford Bronco is available with two engines. You have the standard 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost 4-cylinder which puts out 275 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Now if you use premium fuel, those numbers will bump up to 300hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. Worth taking into consideration!
Then there’s the optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V-6, which offers 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
If you want your Ford Bronco with a 7-speed manual transmission you’re gonna have to go with the 2.3-liter engine since the 2.7L only comes with a 10-speed automatic.
Just like the Bronco, all Jeep Wranglers are 4-wheel drive and there are a bunch of engines to choose from.
The standard is a V6 with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, or you can opt for a turbocharged 4-cylinder or a V6 hybrid or diesel.
Top of the line is the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 which comes with a massive SRT-tuned 6.4-liter V8 delivering 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This allows for a 0 to 60 mph time in just 4.5 seconds. In a stock Wrangler!
On the other end we also have the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe which is a plug-in hybrid Jeep with 21 miles of electric-only range.
Both the 2021 Ford Bronco and the 2021 Jeep Wrangler come with soft-tops for that open air experience. You can of course get both with optional hardtops.
