The 3S four-cylinder was so good that even a Supra Mk4 got to use it successfully. The new family would go under the acronym of LARSE - Lightweight Advanced Super Response Engine. It offers exemplary reliability and a great amount of power in both the turbo and non-turbo versions. And that sound is also worth a note among four-cylinders.
