Everyone’s favorite friendly neighborhood hero has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. From his web-shooters to his ability to crawl up and down walls. From his sarcastic wit to maybe his most impressive ability to nearly tell the immediate future. Peter Parker’s reflexes are so quick that some say it even verges on him being able to briefly see into the future. These instincts give him a supreme advantage in hand-to-hand combat with some of the world’s most despicable characters. Not only can he annoy them into oblivion or pin them to a wall for hours, but they will basically stand no chance when Peter can instantaneously react to any move they think about making. However, this unique ability is not foolproof. There are several bad guys over the years who have found a way to trick, conquer, or outright pound into submission one of Peter’s greatest tools.

These antagonists range from classics like Venom and the Green Goblin to a wider range of characters like Taskmaster and Thanos. What does the wall-crawler do when his distinct advantage is rendered useless? It is true that Peter can hold his own in a fight without it, but what makes these criminals especially dangerous is the ways they work around it.
