This is the 2023 Slingshot. I had a chance to drive both the AutoDrive (automated manual transmission), and the traditional 5 speed manual. One thing I have learned is that a LOT of automotive journalists try to force the Slingshot into comparisons to cars, and motorcycle journalists try force it into comparisons to motorcycles. The real beauty of the Slingshot is that it is NEITHER one of those things. It somehow takes some of the best AND worst traits of both and creates an experience like no other. In this video, I didn't want to take any other approach than spitballing my thoughts as I rode through Austin, Texas on an absolutely amazing press ride.
