On 8th March (9th March for some) I released my Animated Lyric Video for Eminem's Godzilla.
That was just 2 YEARS ago, but it feels like a lifetime becuase since then my life and career have never been the same.

I have been an artist all my life and an animator since 2008. I've worked for over a decade in a variety of jobs from TV, E-commerce, Video Production, Advertising etc. etc. All of those jobs taught me something. It improved my speed, it forced me to think on my feet, it inspired me to push harder, it taught me team work, and improved my knowledge in the nuances of each of those industries... And ALL that helped me venture out on my solo career back in October 2017.
By December 2017 I was doing better than I did in any of my past jobs, because in October I began a creative rampage! I sat down at my machine daily and created everything I wanted to create, relentlessly, fueled by the need to make my craft work for me; To make the risk I took leaving my 9-5, pay off! I have always been told I'm a monster when it came to work, but this time I got to define what that work was, and I was feeling it a 100% : This is the energy that prompted me to create the motion-graphics lyric video for Eminem's Believe. Coz that is exactly how I felt at that moment in my career. That video didn't get me noticed, but that didn't matter, I moved on to the next.
If you haven't seen that video, here is the link:    • Eminem - BELIEVE (Lyric Video) Fan Ma...

By mid 2018, I was doing so well that Portia (wife, manager, business and creative partner) left her 9-5 to join me to create MERAKI UNITED. And since then we have been ruthlessly and tirelessly pursuing this impossible dream, of being a production house that the world would recognize. She and I have a always worked towards that. And coming from Sri Lanka - a very small, third-world, island country - what we have achieved the last few years is beyond our dreams.

Then came 2020. And just before COVID struck in full force, I was busy working on Godzilla, A Passion Project. It cost me 19 days and many sleepless hours to see Godzilla through, but I was able to release my video just 9 hours before Eminem released the official MV for Godzilla directed by Cole Bennet. And the rest is history: A history summed up in this video right here...

This collection of Merch is a celebration of the amazing journey I have been on, and the Godzilla-like transformation that I personally went through. Eminem's transformation to the MAD MECHA GODZILLA mode that conquors all fores is an intepretation of Eminem's own journey, which has been an inspiration to my own. THAT is the ENERGY I want to pass on to you who might own these merchandize. AWAKEN YOUR GODZILLA!
