First of all: I am not sponsored by them in any way. One of their employees started a facebook call for stackers who want to try their prototypes and I messaged him and he sent them to me.




My opinion about the Qi-Yi Pros are mixed. They look nearly identical to the Speed Stacks version which is completely fine for me. The print of the logo is slightly different and there is no fading logo as of now. (1 day later and much sweaty stack). What bothers me the most with the cups is the slipperyness. These are soo hard to grab. The sound of the cups is nice and I kinda feel that these are produced differently and thats not even a bad thing. I am not sure if you guys can relate but if I unbox a set of Speed Stacks Pro Series and I am stacking with it for several hours - I can feel a rough bottom of the cup (more like inside the cup but at the bottom) and that bothers me much. The Qi-Yi Cups don´t have this, which is nice.


So all in one the Pros are good but the slipperyness has to fade. Maybe I have to help out a bit but I am not sure how.


The Qi-Yi Cups which look like the Snaptop Version of Speed Stacks are out of the box very good. They aren´t as slippery as the Pro Version which makes them more easy to stack with. The Logo looks very cool and the cups have a nice grip. Also do they sound different than the Snaptop Version of Speed Stacks which is noticeable but not bad at all.


Summing it up all together:


I like the cups. They could be more innovative colorwise (The Pro Versions) but they have a nice feel besides that Slipperyness(That´s a real problem in my opinion) Imagine you go to a tournament buy a new set of these and try to compete with it but it takes them weeks to get rid of that slip slop.


I kinda doubt that these cups will crack more likely than Speed Stacks which is a good thing.



I can only recommend to build up your own opinion. I am going to use them even more and once they are completely worn in - the might be insane cups but for now are they only one day old.
