Patrick Walsh is a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelors degree from Marquette University (1996) and an MBA from Georgetown University (2003). He has ten years of product design, development and testing experience, including five years designing custom automation equipment and servo pick & place robots for automating injection molding machines. Since 2005, he has worked in patents, with a focus on research for patentability, validity and freedom to operate. As the owner of Walsh IP, LLC, he has completed or overseen thousands of patent searches in multiple technical areas using various tools, including EAST, Orbit Intelligence, PSV, Google Patents and Espacenet. Walsh IP maintains a small network of US based search contractors having access to different research tools, such as EAST at the USPTO search room in Alexandria Virginia.

Pat lives in Arlington Virginia, with his wonderful wife Diane, 3YO accident prone Colin, and 4YO fun loving Luke.
