It is my joy to present, Duke University graduate, Mark Tager, MD and talk about his new book, Feed Your Skin Right: Your Personalized Nutrition Plan for Radiant Beauty. He is a pioneer in integrative medicine.
Dr Tager founded the Institute of Preventive Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1976. It attracted other holistically minded practitioners that strived to give their patients the time and energy they needed. This compassion is similar to mine as I spend 50 minutes with people when I have telehealth visits with people all over the world. Dr Tager and I share in the gratification of giving people the input that they need and without an agenda.
He has taught healthcare professionals to deliver wellness care, produced a weekly radio show, written for two newspapers, authored eleven books and was the producer of a cable health series called The Wellness Lifestyle to name a few.

Dr Tager was the founding marketing VP for Reliant Technologies where he launched the Fraxel® laser, and then went to Syneron where he launched the Velashape® II. Both devices were among the most successful launches in the field of aesthetics. He helped launch Senté cosmeceuticals. He has served as Director of Strategic Initiatives for The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and he is a featured speaker at medical & healthcare events across the globe.
In this talk we cover some of the topics in Feed Your Skin Right like what to eat, what supplements to take, what topicals to apply and even some procedures to look at when it comes to your skin looking its best. We will cover how to navigate through a sea of too much information when it comes to the topic of better skin and give you some paths to go down.

Examples of some of the specifics are the role your genes play in skin health, how refined carbohydrates affect the collagen in your hypodermis and thus the infrastructure of your skin. Other fascinating conversation is focused on ingesting your sunblock with foods as their carriers.

I hope you enjoy this conversation.
