A Green Guy. A Yellow Girl. Blue Wah-wahs. A story with no dialogue, just music, dance, watercolor, crayon, and a lot of paper. Visit www.jakefriedman.net

Animation inspired by the Hubleys, Frederic Back, Bruno Bozzetto, Bill Melendez, John Canemaker, and cool bits I'd seen on Sesame Street throughout the years.

Done as my senior thesis film at NYU animation in 2004. It's really about the two sides of a psyche battling over what it really, truly wants. Does it want what the Blue Guys have in their group, or what the Yellow Girl has all by herself? It's a story of the same struggle that popped up along my journey time and time again, and I think I was only able to rectify it after I was quit an internship from a top kids' show produced in New York.

This film has won some awards across the country and has been screened internationally, by I really appreciate it most when people say "Yeah, man, I get that."
