Tesla is getting close to opening its first-ever entertainment-centric supercharging station—a diner and drive-in theater in Los Angeles that will play famous movie clips on a big screen while drivers wait for their EVs to charge.

Elon Musk’s Tesla retro-futuristic supercharging station is being built on Santa Monica Boulevard, which is West Hollywood’s stretch of the historic Route 66. Musk, the co-founder and CEO of Tesla Motors, revealed some details of the charging station saying “Our Tesla futuristic diner (Grease meets The Jetsons with Supercharging) in LA should be ready later this year.”
