The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia may look great, but in Veloce form, there is serious depth of talent under the skin. A resolved chassis, lightweight engine, standard limited slip differential, and a far better-made interior than before mean the new Giulia deserves consideration.

But would you take a punt on an Alfa Romeo when the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class exist? Or does Alfa’s own Stelvio SUV make more sense to you?
