Asalaamu Alaaikum World! So we just returned from a school event called Passport to the World where 30+ countries were presented at different tables. This event took place in the ballroom in Atwood Memorial @ Saint Cloud State University. Some friends and I set up a Somalia table last minute. Tons of people came by and many women tried on Hijabs. I recorded this vlog, please excuse the music! It was so loud I could hardly hear my own thoughts, never mind narrate. I was also interviewed by the Saint Cloud Times newspaper. I told the reporter, we need more of this! Especially in this political climate where the country is so divided.
