SOME HAVE EXPRESSED CONCERN THAT LEKSEI IS BEING MISTREATED OR TEASED :
We were getting ready to go out. She knows our “getting ready” routines and starts asking for treats before we’re ready. We have always given her a nice bully stick just before we walk out the door so she doesn’t associate our going as stressful but rather, enjoyable. She starts demanding to have it immediately once she knows we’re going. If we give it to her too soon, it will be gone before we go! Negates the whole purpose! Husky’s have a reputation of being destructive when their owners leave them alone. We have used this method of a goodbye treat for a long time and it has worked very well. She gets bites of our food at meal times, home made dog food and treats throughout the day so I assure you she is treated like a queen every day.
Dad was looking up some info on his tablet that we needed for our errand so i decided to record the drama queen!😄
We were ready to go so I eneded the recoding and she got her treato!!
