Alexander The Great was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon. He was a strategist and planner and won several wars for the people of Greece.

Alexander III of Macedon was a king of Greece’s ancient kingdom Macedon. He was born in 336 BC in Pella in the Argead Dynasty. Till the age of 16 he was taught by the great philosopher, Aristotle. After his father, Philip II’s death, he took over the throne at a very young age of 20. He inherited a very experienced and strong army. Alexander is considered to be one of the best army commanders world’s history has seen. He conquered the maximum then known kingdoms making his empire the largest in ancient history of the world in just 10 years and hence he was given the title “Great”.

He died at the age of 32 in Babylon due to possibly being poisoned or because of some sickness.. Although his death has arguably different versions.
