I love oysters and sparkling wine, it's such a great pairing! So in this video, you'll learn how to shuck and serve oysters with wine easily! It's not that hard once you know the trick. Take your oyster knife, dig into the hinge, and twist until it pops. Then clean your knife, cut around the edge, and cut the mussel. Simple! We'll also make one of my favorite oyster garnishes, a mignonette. It's so easy, it's just red wine vinegar, shallot, and pepper. (Recipe below). Then we'll pop some Brut sparkling Albariño wine from Spain and enjoy!

RECIPE:
Mignonette (for Oysters):
-1-2 minced shallot (about 1/4 cup)
-1/2 cup red wine vinegar
-fresh cracked black pepper
Combine all ingredients, chill, let marinate at least 30 minutes before serving.
