Sandy Creek Park is the closest place to camp in the Cedar Park and Leander area. There are 20 first come first serve primitive sites with access to running water and flush toilets. There is a dump station, but they can only accommodate small rv's.
The location is so close to Cedar Park and Leander that it makes a great place for family camping. Hiking trails, fishing, and a boat dock are also available.
