Joe explains his reasons for leaving Palantir to start up Addepar and how he used lessons and ideas learned from Palantir to successfully manage over $1 Trillion in wealth with Addepar.

Joe is currently a General Partner at 8VC, a venture capital and private equity fund based out of San Francisco, CA. After working for PayPal in their early days, Joe co-founded Palantir Technologies, a data-driven software company that works with some of the largest institutions from both the public and private sectors of the economy. He is also known for founding Addepar, a technology solution for wealth management, and building Formation 8, a widely successful venture capital fund based in San Francisco.
