The New Founding Fathers of America, or the NFFA, (also known as The New Founders of America or NFA) was the fictional political party that took power in 2014 in the world of The Purge. They are most infamous for their stance on crime; they claimed that aggression is a part of human nature that must be released every year, and created a holiday called The Purge in which all crime was legal for 12 continuous hours.

Of course, you already know that, but you may not have known about the party's storied past detailed on their New Founders of America website and the many installments of The Purge movies and TV series.

In this video I'll be covering the ENTIRE history of the NFFA and The Purge, from their initial election with President Bracken and Chief of Staff Arlo Sabian, to their most notable Purges in 2022 and 2023, to the introduction of the Mercy Cult in 2027, the story of surveillance agent Esme Carmona and the momentous 2040 election involving President Caleb Warrens, Minister Edwidge Owens and many more corrupt and duplicitous politicians.

I'll be analyzing each character and the organization as a whole as we go along.

This video will effectively outline the entire Purge timeline, so I'll also be filling in the gaps of the years not seen on screen, theorizing about timeline placement of each entry and ordering every event in the franchise chronologically. This is the ultimate Purge analysis!

As far as we know, everything is canon, so I'll be including The Purge (2013), The Purge: Anarchy (2014), The Purge: Election Year (2016), The First Purge (2018) and The Purge Season 1 and 2, and the contents of the NFA Website as part of my analysis.
