Modern electric motorcycle industry is being developed by leaps and bounds, i.e. every new significant invention or technological breakthrough in the development of motors or battery packs is followed by their immediate incorporation into upcoming models. As a result, we as consumers are treated to two-wheelers that are lighter, more powerful and can boast smarter controllers as well as next-gen features.

We do our best to highlight the latest changes in the world of EVs. One of the latest presentations covered the latest e-motorcycling news:    • More Electric Motorbike Inventions Pr...

Despite the significant advancements in the field of electric motors that are offering record-breaking power outputs for their size and weight, the battery packs technology seems to be lacking behind. As a result, the range suitable for cruising is still to be achieved (unless we are talking about excessively heavy motorcycles).

With this in mind, the most upcoming battery-electric motorcycles today represent the lightweight class (that is usually compared to the 125cc class of regular motorbikes). These compact two-wheelers are considered to be a good option for commuting around the city zones or be taken for some fun rides around the nearest dirt trail.

In this video presentation we'd like to highlight the companies that have light e-bikes in the works and are planning to start bringing them for the 2022 model year. In the video we talked about estimated release dates, buying prices as well as anticipated specifications for the motors and battery autonomy.
