In Irish History, Flann Sinna, also known as Flann mac Máele Sechnaill, was a significant figure in the history of Ireland, serving as High King from 879 to 916 AD. He belonged to the Clann Cholmáin dynasty, a powerful branch of the Uí Néill family, which held considerable influence over the northern half of Ireland during the early medieval period.
