I wanted to make a logo out of steel, so I designed a file in Fusion 360 and sent it to my CNC plasma cutter. I then cleaned up the metal and applied Super Blue which darkens and gives it great texture. Lastly, I took a block of wood and CNC carved the same image for the metal to fit inside. These are held together with a rare earth magnet and epoxy. Everything was coated in oil.
