The 2024 Peugeot 508 is a mid-size car that doesn't get a lot of love but should. You see, if you ignore the French brand's lacklustre reputation and its ambitious pricing, it currently sells very, very good passenger vehicles.

However, their high quality hasn't translated to high sales in Australia.
When it comes to the 508 specifically, it has an even taller task ahead of it, as it plays in a shrinking segment, of which it straddles the line between mainstream (Skoda Octavia) and premium (BMW 3 Series). Yet the Peugeot goes its own way by not only offering a wagon body-style, but also a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
